EDC 1: Spaghetti Bridge
The Spaghetti Bridge was a project where we traded designs with another group and put their design together. We also had a limited amount of supplies to work with.
EDC 2: Recycled Furniture With An Electric Twist
The recycled furniture was a project that used recyclable materials in order to create a working piece of furniture that also contained an electrical component. Our project had a sensor that detected when someone was sitting down and turned on a light. We had to have a working project in order to participate in the next project, Smart House.
SMART House
SMART House is a model house that uses electrical components that fit what is in a smart house. Our project had zone-controlled lights, temperature sensor, camera system, movement sensor, and a fan. I coded this using the programming language Python. This was controlled remotely.
Everyday Robotics Challenge
The Everyday Robotics Challenge used a robot that helped solve an everyday problem. Our robot helped scrub and wash floors remotely.
Passion Project

Rubber Band Shooter
As a way to break the ice and get comfortable with the new Grade 10s, we worked on a bunch of challenges. The challenge was to create a rubber band shooter out of limited types of resources.
Project X-51
Project X-51 was a project emulating proper companies creating a rover to send to Mars. We had to to plan, pitch an idea, budget and create the robot. This would be done within a set amount of time.
